The design and construction of intelligent substation is crucial to the entire smart grid.The distinctive feature of the intelligent substation is that its primary equipment is intelligent and networked.This paper adopts the outstanding functions of the intelligent substation designed.The existing conventional substation is compared,and the analysis of various data information shows that the intelligent substation has the advantages of convenience,safety and intelligence.Due to the shortcomings of conventional substation,such as the difficulty of sharing information resources and the poor extension of the system,this paper analyzes and designs the hardware system and communication network of Yangming 110kV intelligent substation from the following aspects.(1)This paper first introduces the components of intelligent substation,and optimizes the structure of intelligent substation based on IEC61850 standard.The structure and design requirements of intelligent components of primary equipment are analyzed,and the advanced application functions of several intelligent substations are listed and analyzed.(2)In view of the overall design principle of the smart substation,the general situation of power system and load forecast of power supply area are analyzed.And the system design of the primary part of Yangming 110kV intelligent substation is completed in combination with relevant construction scheme,electrical calculation and equipment selection.(3)The overall design of the secondary part system of Yangming 110kV intelligent substation is realized through the combination of system relay protection,dispatching automation,system communication and equipment configuration.Meanwhile,the composition and equipment configuration of substation intelligent auxiliary system are analyzed.(4)The whole station data flow of intelligent substation is modeled mathematically.In addition,the network parameters are set.OPNET software is used for comparative analysis of simulation to verify the performance of the communication network in the extreme case of feeder fault and bus fault.The development of intelligent substations is an important foundation and support for a strong smart grid.With the new wave of intelligent development of the power grid,the power grid business will become more vigorous and prosperous.
