Research On Technical Aiding For Industrial Design Oriented Mechanical Design Method

Industrial designers are usually in the upstream stage of industrial design.They analyze the market and demand for industrial products with a combination of diversified theoretical knowledge and behavioral methods and are responsible for proposing and controlling the concept of industrial design as a whole.Mechanism design is the content of downstream product realization in industrial design,which is mainly implemented by professional mechanism designers according to the functional requirements of conceptual products.Both divisions of labor are clear,also contact is close at the same time,mutual restrict.For industrial designers,the conceptual scheme without considering the institutional implementation will lead to the increase of cost or direct interruption of the subsequent product development process.Considering the product realization but the inexperience of the organization will lead to the limitation of the design thinking of industrial designers and reduce the possibility of innovative design.Aiming at the fault phenomenon between the product scheme and the actual production caused by the lack of mechanical mechanism design ability of industrial designers in the process of industrial design,this paper proposes the auxiliary method of establishing digital mechanism database and building mechanism design prototype system to help industrial designers reduce the difficulty of mechanical mechanism design.In order to improve the output quality and efficiency of industrial designers in the product design process,shorten the product development cycle,reduce the cost of product development.In this paper,the expression of the motion mechanism matrix is constructed by coding from the conceptual model to the data model.The establishment of the organization database is realized by using Excel form without a carrier.With VBA as tools,the mutual transformation between the organization matrix information in the database and the organization diagram in the CorelDraw software page is completed,which enables the software to extract and store the organization in the database,and realizes the function of managing the organization library.In this paper,the design process of industrial designer institutions is constructed by studying the innovative design method of institutions and analyzing the requirements of institutional designers and industrial designers on institutional design in product design.Based on the design process of the mechanism,the functional framework of the prototype system was designed on the basis of CorelDraw software,and the main functions such as adjustment,combination,freedom calculation and motion simulation of the generated schematic diagram of the mechanism were realized through the prototype system.Combined with the application in practical design cases,the feasibility of using the prototype system and digital mechanism library to design and verify mechanism based on product functions is verified.It provides a reference for the extension of different kinds of assistive design techniques.In view of the wide application and convenient operation of CorelDraw software in industrial designers,the digital mechanism library and prototype system are plug-in and promoted.The use of simple and easy-to-use graphic design software instead of complex and difficult to use engineering software for institutional design,both for enterprises and designers,has considerable prospects.
