Study On Landscape Renewal Design Of Traditional Residential Courtyards In Special Villages And Towns Of Ura Street

Wulajie Town of Jilin City is an ancient town with unique historical and ethnic characteristics.The majority of the town’s population is Manchu.It preserves the architectural characteristics and ethnic customs of the Manchu culture,and it has become the second batch of Characteristic town in China.However,due to the historical changes,the existing residential courtyards in Wulajie Town are not prominently combined with its historical context and regional characteristics.The poor quality of residential environment does not reflect the attributes of its characteristic.Therefore,it has great research significance to continue and develop the cultural context and folk customs,retain and inherit the local architectural layout and rich national characteristics,and show the new courtyard landscape and street style.Based on the field examination and related theories of the residential environment in Wulajie Town,the paper analyzes the regional culture and national characteristics of the traditional houses in Wulajie Town,and redesigns the traditional residential environment in the town.The purpose is continuing the local traditional culture,enriching and perfecting the public space,and thereby it can improve the vitality and landscape quality of Wula Street Town,and make the residential environment prominent and comfortable in the background of the historical and cultural town of Wula Street.In this process,firstly,the paper extracts and follows the constituent elements of the traditional residential buildings in the town,including the construction unit composition and group unit form.Secondly,the part of the residential environment needs to be beautified and coordinated as the object of “renewable”.The aesthetics and function of the characteristic and traditional architecture attach the design for regeneration.Finally,based on the above process,the specific design method for the traditional regeneration of the ancient building,residential environment and streetscape in Wulajie Town is proposed,and the personal design practice is adopted: "Pulse-Return to the Courtyard" for the presentation and application of ideas.
