Research On Livability Of Jinning City In Kunming

In the period of rapid urbanization development in China,small cities with good ecological environment and suitable city scale are mostly at the end of urban and rural management system.The economic level and living quality have been limited.The natural resources of Yunnan are advantageous and the ecological foundation is fragile.The ecological and social benefits are more important than economic benefits.Therefore,for most small cities in Yunnan,the livable-oriented urban planning and construction is not only an active protection of the ecological environment,but also an effective way to change the traditional extensive economic development mode.Through a comparative study of the evaluation index system of livable cities proposed by domestic and foreign scholars,the thesis finds the targeted guidance for the livable cities in Yunnan lacks.Taking Jinning City as a sample,the thesis focuses on the ecological environment and human settlements on the basis of scientific evaluation criteria for livable cities.Through theoretical research and case studies,the thesis starts from the following six aspects: economic level,living environment,infrastructure,social civilization,ecological environment and public safety and will explore the evaluation index system of livability which is applicable and evaluate it.According to the evaluation results,the thesis finds out the problems existing and proposes corresponding solutions.By constructing an empirical research on the evaluation index system of livability in Jinning City,the thesis holds that although the livability is in the primary stage,it can be improved.In Yunnan,there are many small cities similar to Jinning City on the basic conditions such as the development level and population size.Based on the research and considering many factors such as society,economy,culture,life and safety,the thesis based on ecological environment and human settlement attempts to propose a technical path suitable for guiding the construction of index system for livable city in Yunnan.
