A Study On The Location Impact To Small Cities And Towns' Space Arrangement And Development In The West Economical Area Of YunNan Province

The small cities and towns play an important role on the urbanization proceed. It is also an effective way to tackle with the urban and country problems. So it is significant to small cities and towns urban planning activities. 2 decades pasted, widely researches had been done to the east coast developed area and get the conclusions such as the"South-Su model", and"Pearl River Delta"model. Whereas, as far as the small cities and towns are preferred, due to their specific natural geography location and far departure from the economic development core, under the disadvantages of lacking superior locations, it is impossible for us to merely copy the existed development model. Today, accompany with the delivery of the west development policies, the small city and towns have begun to probe a model suitable the special location needs. Among them, such cities and towns in the West Economical Area of YunNan Province are examples to insist. They transited from developing solely agriculture economy to tourism, trading and transportation.This paper properly based on the factors inferred above, from the angle of its specific location, adopting reasoning data and theoretical analysis, to conclude the relationship between the space arrangement and development mode as well as relative locations. In addition to that, the author still provide proposals that the importance of the traffic location affection local small cities and towns'development constructed on deep experimental research to the West Economical Area of YunNan Province.
