With the development of the times,the education of special children and adolescents has attracted wide attention from all walks of life.In 2016,in the National 13 th Five-Year Plan Outline,we emphasized the importance of "improving the universal ability,facilities and quality of special education for the disabled".The development of special education in foreign countries is earlier than that in China,but there are few studies on the landscape planning and design of special education schools.China's special education schools started late,and did not pay much attention to landscape planning and design.Many special education schools' landscape environment did not achieve the desired effect,could not really play its due role,there are many drawbacks.This paper takes landscape planning and design of special education schools as the research object,mainly through literature summary,field research,case analysis,practical verification and other methods,guided by the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics of different disabled students in special education schools(hearing,visual and intellectual impairment),On the basis of campus landscape planning and design,this paper analyses the impact of special education school landscape on disabled students,the current situation and existing problems of special education school landscape in China,and elaborates on the entrance space,boundary space,traffic direction,functional zoning,plant landscaping,game activity space and landscape sketches according to the physical and mental characteristics of disabled students,Through the research,the methods of landscape planning and design of special education schools are obtained,such as the overall planning of campus roads,rational functional zoning,the shaping of convalescent landscape,the use of non-toxic,harmless,local plant resources,details of barrier-free design,the use of different types of pavement,the creation of outdoor recreational venues,etc.The design method is applied to special education in Baoding City.Heart landscape planning and design transformation.In the transformation of landscape planning and design of Baoding Special Education Center,based on the humanized and barrier-free design concept,guided by the needs of special education students for campus landscape,and combined with the current situation of the site,the overall planning and design are carried out.Landscape planning,design and transformation of the campus are mainly carried out through several areas,such as entrance landscape area,comprehensive teaching area,outdoor activity area,ecological convalescent area,quiet rest area,etc.Among them,the ecological recuperation area and outdoor activity area are the focus of planning and design.Finally,the previous theoretical research results and reform design schemes are summarized and analyzed to further improve the theory of landscape planning and design of special education schools.At the same time,I hope this paper can supplement the blank of special research on landscape planning and design of special education schools,and provide some help for future academic research and practical application.
