Under the impact of globalization,the people's life and production style in ethnic minority areas tend to be assimilated and are going to disappear.The Maonan Nuo Mask is a representative physical carrier of Maonan ethnic culture.It has rich Visual Art language value and is loaded with the history and life of Maonan nationality.Wrote from the perspective of Landscape Installation Art,this paper selects the typical representative of Guangxi ethnic minority culture—Maonan Nuo Mask culture as a research model to explore its artistic and spiritual connotation,explore how to integrate it into the Landscape Installation Art in the new era,and broaden the boundary of Landscape Installation Art,inject national,unique,and local vitality into it,while letting the little-known minority culture represented by the Maonan Nuo Mask,through the platform of Landscape Installation Art,attract public attention and understanding.Through the field investigation and insulting many studies,the author summarizes and analyzes the artistic characteristics of the Maonan Nuo Mask and its application cases in the existing landscape design,and combines the characteristics and development trend of the landscape installation art to demonstrate the necessity and feasibility of applying Maonan Nuo Mask to the Landscape Installation Art.Refining the design elements from the material and non-material aspects of the Maonan Nuo Mask,using dynamic,comprehensive and trend-oriented design techniques to pay attention to the adaptability,sustainability and public participation of the combination process and results,combining theory with practice,testing the feasibility of theoretical content,promoting the sustainable development of Maonan culture,and providing some reference value for the application of other ethnic cultures in landscape installations.
