The essence of urban traffic congestion is the imbalance between transportation supply and demand.The rapid growth of population and motor vehicles has led to an increase in traffic demand,but the backward planning concept and unreasonable road network grade proportion have also caused a shortage of transportation supply.seriously affecting the overall traffic efficiency of the road network,so the adjustment of the current urban road network grading is imminent.At present,the domestic government promotes the new planning concept of “narrow road with dense network” and introduces relevant norms to guide.This paper is based on the concept of “narrow road with dense network” and conducts in-depth research on the grading of urban road network.Firstly,the thesis elaborates the mechanism of the interaction between the influencing factors and the road network grade proportion,summarizes the problems existing in the current urban road network grade proportion,and finally analyzes the requirements of urban road network grade proportion at home and abroad.Then the action mechanism between the influencing factors and the road network grade proportion is elaborated,and the problems existing in the current urban road network grade proportion are summarized.Secondly,it starts with the interaction of land use and traffic,analyzing the impact of land use on traffic under the concept of “narrow road with dense network”,and elaborates the influence to the concept of “narrow road dense with network” on the characteristics of transportation supply and residents' travel demand.It provides a theoretical basis for parameter selection of the model.Finally,by constructing the comprehensive density index of urban road network,based on the theory of traffic supply and demand balance,the urban road network linear optimization model of “narrow road dense network” concept was established and verified by the urban planning example.Under the concept of “narrow road with dense network”,this paper constructs the urban road network grade proportion optimization model by using the balance of transportation supply and demand theory to solve the optimal grade proportion of urban road network,and provides a scientific grade proportion optimization idea and method for the urban road network planning researchers,it has certain engineering practical significance.
