Study On Design Of Farmyard In Dingcheng District Of Changde City

The farmyard is the main place where the villagers in rural areas develop the courtyard economy.As the basic unit of the daily life of the villagers and an important part of the construction of the beautiful countryside and the beautiful courtyard,the farmyard carries various types of functional attributes that are closely related to the villagers and the courtyard.The research on farmyard landscape and function is of great practical significance.Dingcheng District of Changde City sticks to the construction requirements of “beautiful village,wealthy villagers,and good village style”,adheres to the construction standard “four for beauty and one for transformation”,and carries out the construction of beautiful countryside of the entire district,leading the rural revitalization with good demonstration effects.In this context,this paper regards the farmyard as the research object,outlines the basic characteristics of the farmyards in Dingcheng District,Changde City,and discusses the matching landscape construction theories and design methods to achieve the objectives,which consist of the optimization of the structure of farmyards,the creation of beautiful courtyards,and the construction of a harmonious living environment.This paper conduct the research on farmyard design in West Dongting Lake area,that is,Dingcheng District,Changde City through literature review,field research and other research methods.In order to meet the needs of the development of the new countryside,through browsing relevant data on the development history,cultural backgrounds,and ecological landscapes of courtyards at home and abroad,and collating and analyzing the questionnaire data on field surveys,this paper got a closer look at what the villagers there know of and want from farmyard landscape design,and summed up the common problems in the construction of farmyards.The author believes that the planning and development of the new countryside must be consistent with the construction concept of the “beautiful courtyard”.Based on the investigation of the current status of farmyards in this area,the farmyards can be classified into five types: farming courtyards,breeding courtyards,mixed courtyards,leisure and green courtyards,and rural tourism courtyards.Based on the comprehensive information of farmer households in Dingcheng District on the knowledge and needs of courtyards,family structure and economic status,personal preference of the type of garden and landscape elements,combined with relevant theoretical knowledge of landscape design,it is proposed that farmyards in Dingcheng District of Changde City should follow the four basic design principles that focus on functional practicability,coexistence of economic and ecological benefits,protection and inheritance of local culture,and the expression of landscape diversity.According to the status of local rural villages in Dingcheng District,this paper summarized three main modes suitable for the construction of farmyards in this region: economic production mode,garden leisure mode,and rural tourism mode,and carried out reformed design on a farmyard in Baoguo Village,Dingcheng District,utilizing the farmyard design theories and optimization strategies that have been summarized in this paper.
