With the continuous development of our social economy,people gradually raised the functional requirement of the building.Building structure,building information are more and more complex.The traditional construction management method contradicts the current development situation of China’s construction industry.How to realize the informatization management of the construction industry becomes the primary problem of the development of the construction industry.The construction industry is the pillar industry of China’s national economy,and the annual investment amount is huge.The emergence of BIM technology provides an effective means to solve the existing problems in construction.Since the technology was first proposed,it had been widely used in the construction of foreign construction projects.However,at present,the domestic research on BIM technology is not in-depth enough,which mainly focuses on the theoretical level,and its application in practical engineering is not mature enough.Therefore,it has practical significance to study the application of building information modeling technology in the construction stage of engineering projects.This paper introduces the concept of BIM technology and its research and application status at home and abroad.By reading the literature,analyzing and summarizing the actual engineering application cases,deeply study the application of BIM technology in the engineering construction stage.Through comparison with the traditional construction management method,discusses the application process and significance of BIM technology in practical engineering construction.Taking the C05 block in Dalian Donggang District and other engineering cases as the background,this paper analyzes the specific application of BIM technology in virtual constructions,including detailed design,progress management,cost control and other aspects.To ensure the quality of the whole construction process,establish the layout model of the site,simulate the dynamic complex construction process,and build the virtual construction template.Use Revit to establish BIM models for all majors,and Navisworks construction simulation software was used to conduct collision detection for integrated models.According to the obtained collision report,model conflicts were modified to complete the in-depth design of building models.Associate the model with actual construction progress and cost information to build BIM5 D model.To realize the dynamic control of project cost,design the basic framework and process of the project cost management,input,modify and extract the required engineering data in real time.Finally,it analyzes and summarizes the application process and value of BIM technology in the management of construction quality,construction schedule and the cost of the construction project.The study of this paper provides a reference for the application of BIM technology in subsequent construction projects,which has certain economic benefits and social value.
