The Study On The Impact Of IT Resources On Supply Chain Performance

The construction industry plays an important role in the national economy.But the problems of environment pollution,resource consumption and product quality in construction industry are becoming more and more serious.Therefore,the transformation and upgrading of traditional construction industry is extremely urgent.Prefabricated buildings are highly valued by the government and enterprises because of their advantages of energy saving,environmental protection,high construction efficiency and guaranteed product quality.At present,how to promote the development of prefabricated building is still in the exploration stage.Numerous academic research results and practical experience show that supply chain management of construction projects can effectively promote the performance improvement of construction projects.However,how to improve the performance of prefabricated building supply chain has become a key problem to be solved in promoting the development of prefabricated building.Based on the problems,according to resource theory and enterprise competence theory,taking IT resources,supply chain coordination ability and the performance of supply chain into account and analyzing the theoretical mechanism.Using the structural equation and multiple regression to verify this theory model.According to the theoretical and empirical analysis.This paper proposes Some suggestions are proposed in this paper on how to improve supply chain performance from the perspectives of IT resources,supply chain synergy and government.This paper conducted an empirical analysis of 265 valid questionnaires and draws the following conclusions :(1)IT resources have a positive effect on supply chain performance.The better IT infrastructure and IT human resources are beneficial to the supply chain performance;(2)IT resources have a positive effect on supply chain collaboration capability.Good IT resources in the supply chain can promote the formation and improve supply chain collaboration capability;(3)Supply chain collaboration capability have a positive effect on supply chain performance.Enhancing supply chain resource collaboration,process collaboration and relationship collaboration can effectively improve supply chain performance.Meanwhile,supply chain collaboration capability plays an intermediary role between IT resources and supply chain performance;(4)Government support plays a positive regulating role between supply chain synergy and supply chain performance.The government support is more powerful,the supply chain collaboration capability can affect on the supply chain performance more significantly.According to the theoretical and empirical research,the following management advice are proposed in this paper :(1)Considering the complementarity between IT infrastructure and IT human resources,the IT resources can be more competitive;(2)Taking resources collaboration,processes collaboration and relationships collaboration into account to build and improve supply chain synergy;(3)The government can take standard formulation,technical service platform and special fund into account to formulate reasonable incentive measures and policies.
