Electric vehicles have attracted more and more attention from the government and enterprises because of its advantages about energy saving and environmental protection under the dual pressure of environm ental pollution and energy shortage.At the same time,electric vehicles have become one of the important directions of automobile in dustry development in the future.As an important supporting facility for energy supply of electric vehicles,vigorously prom oting the con str uction of charging infrastructure service network is of great significance for accelerating the popularization and application of electric vehicles and promoting the development of low-carbon economy.The government in W city actively responds to the national call to highly promote electric vehicles,while speeding up the investment and construction of electric vehicle charging station.However,the investment cycle of electric vehicle charging station is long and the investment risk is high.How to reduce the investment risk and improve the success rate of investment through scientific decision-m aking is an important problem which must be solved urgently in promoting the large-scale investment construction of electric vehicle charging station in W city.The paper firstly combs the relevant research and development status at home and abroad and analyzes the current investment situation and existing problems of EV charging station in W city.Then construct a risk decision through adding risk to the traditional investment decision model-NPV model and combining with the investment characteristics of EV charging station.This risk decision model can objectively reflect the investment efficiency of the charging station and is used as a basis to judge the proj ect whether feasible or not after fully considering the risk for investors.Finally,take a charging station in W city as an example and use the two models to calculate the expected investment benefit from two perspectives of never considering risk and fully considering risk.Comparing the calculated results,the following conclusions can be drawn:First,the decision information provided by the risk decision model is more accurate and in line with the actual situation;Second,risk has a greater impact on decision-making,and investors should take full account of risks in decision-making which will make the actual cash flow reaches the expected level of investors and promote the project run more smoothly after investment.Therefore,it is recommended that investors must have high awareness of risk and adopt scientific decision-making meth ods when investing in electric vehricle charging stations in order to promote the rapid development of the electric vehicle industry in W city.
