As a pillar industry of the national economy,the construction industry has made important contributions to China's economic development and social progress,however,the rapid development of the construction industry has also brought many problems,such as high resource consumption,and serious environmental pollution.In order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of construction industry,"building industry modernization" arises at this moment,and it points out the development direction and puts forward higher requirements for various construction engineering enterprises.The modernization of the construction industry brings an uncertain market environment and also brings new development opportunities to the construction engineering enterprises.In this uncertain environment,it is very important to enhance the enterprise competitiveness by promoting their organizational flexibility.Therefore,it is necessary to study the impact mechanism of organizational flexibility on the competitiveness of construction engineering enterprises,and then put forward specific measures to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises.Firstly,on the basis of literature research,the relationship between organizational flexibility,enterprise competitiveness and organizational innovation of construction engineering enterprises is analyzed,and the research hypothesis of this paper is put forward.Secondly,the connotation and measurement dimension of each research variable are analysed and defined,and the theoretical model of influence mechanism about organizational felexibility on enterprise competitiveness of construction engineering enterprises is constructed,and the measurement scale of each variable is researched and developed.Thirdly,preparing the questionnaire of this article,modifying and improving the formal questionnaire based on the pre-investigation,then conducting research and collecting data nationwide,and using SPSS25.0 and AMOS21.0 software to descriptive statistical analysis,reliability and validity of the survey data.Thought constructing the structural equation model of the relationship between organization flexibility,organizational innovation and enterprise competitiveness,this paper tests the theoretical model and research hypothesis,clarifies the mechanism of the impact of organizational flexibility on enterprise competitiveness,and verifies the mediating role of organizational innovation.Finally,according to the empirical research results,from three aspects of organizational flexibility,organizational innovation and enterprise competitiveness,specific measures are put forward to enhance the enterprise competitiveness of construction engineering enterprises.The results of this paper show that:(1)The organizational flexibility can significantly promote the enterprises competitiveness of construction engineering enterprises.(2)Organizational innovation can play a mediating role between organizational flexibility and enterprises competitiveness.(3)promoting the organizational flexibility and improving organizational innovation can effectively enhance enterprise competitiveness for construction engineering enterprises.The research results establish the theoretical relationship between organizational flexibility and enterprise competitiveness,verify the important role of organizational flexibility in the field of architecture,further expand the research scope of measurement dimension of organizational flexibility and enterprise competitiveness,and promote the integration and development of different disciplines,which has important theoretical significance.In addition,the research results have important reference value for China's construction engineering enterprises to take effective measures to enhance the enterprise competitiveness by improving organizational flexibility.
