The engine room monitoring and control system can accurately and reliably monitor the parameters and running state of the electrical equipment in the engine room,and control some equipments in real time.ICMS is a very important content and index in ship automation.The stability and reliable operation of the system shoulder the important mission of the ship's normal navigation.This paper mainly expounds the design process and principle of the monitoring and control system of the C9200 engine room.The project is a C9200 container ship built by Dalian Ship Heavy Industry Design Institute for CMA CGM Company,France.The monitoring and control system of the engine room in this project is not traditionally confined to the engine room.The monitoring and alarming function of the important equipment expands the alarming information and control function to the whole ship,and combines with the monitoring and control system of navigation,fire safety and equipment control in cargo hold area.The main contents of this paper include: system selection,network architecture,equipment configuration of engine room monitoring and control system;system interface design and selection;control functions such as remote control of main engine,backup pump control,anti-roll,cargo room fan frequency conversion control,ship power station control system design and research;safety,fire protection design and layout In the early stage of detailed design,complete system reliability analysis is carried out,and the software and hardware design of the system is guided by theoretical calculation.From the point of view of shipyard designers,this paper systematically introduces the advanced design ideas of the advanced engine room monitoring and control system of C9200 project,and makes a detailed analysis of some key points and difficulties in the design,so that this paper can be an important practical reference for large container design.The research content and results of this paper has certain guiding significance and reference value for the design and construction of similar container vessel projects.
