Research On Optimization Of Road Passenger Transport Management In Chongqing

As an important part of transportation industry,the road passenger transportation industry makes up a passenger transportation method with the largest number of employees,the largest transportation capacity,the widest accessibility and the broadest service range in Chinese passenger transportation system.However,in recent years,the development of road passenger transportation has suffered a rapid plummet after many years of continuous growth.This kind of huge drop and enormous change are very different from the meaning of inflection point for lack of effective gradual process.The reasons for this change are varied,including the constant development of comprehensive transportation,as well as the continuous escalation of the impact of other modes of transportation on the road passenger transportation industry,while also including people's increasing demand for diversification,high speed and personalized travel,etc.But tracing to its root,the industry management model is the most important cause.Those problems reveal the disadvantages in the industry management.As the only municipality in midwest China,Chongqing is an important central city in the country.As the economic center of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the comprehensive transportation hub of the southwest region,Chongqing has an unique regional advantage,combining the important strategic base of the western development,One Belt One Road,and the junction of the Yangtze River economic belt.In recent years,while great achievement has been made in the development of Chongqing's road passenger transportation,some underlying contradictions are emerging.The overall function of road passenger transportation development has not been given full play.Resources need to be integrated.Existing enterprises are going through the trouble,faced with difficulties in survival and development.With the ‘two points' positioning,two places' and ‘two heights' goals proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping,and the strategic goal of ‘Traffic Power' advocated by the 19 th National Congress,the problems in the development of road passenger transport are studied.This paper analyzes the demand characteristics of road passenger transport in the new situation,puts forward the ideas and related countermeasures of urban and rural road passenger transportation upgrade,and then further promotes that the development of road passenger transportation in Chongqing is an important task needs urgent studying and solving.Based on the actual situation of the road passenger transport industry in Chongqing,this paper analyzes the social and economic attributes of the road passenger transport industry.With the new public administration and market management theory as the research basis,this paper investigates the problems existing in this industry in Chongqing through questionnaire and data analysis,studies the market demand and supply,and sums up the problems and their causes.This Paper draws on the experience of road passenger transportation upgrade at home and abroad,and analyzes the development trend of road passenger transport industry.Through the investigations and interviewes on Chongqing's passenger transportation departments and enterprises,this papaer will propose to promote some ideas and strategies of management optimization of Chongqing road passenger.
