Recently,as the popularity of the Household Car,the global shortage of oil,the degradation of natural environment,turbocharging has been widely used to Diesel and Gasoline Engines.The application of turbine pressurizer makes miniaturization of gasoline engine come true by using turbocharger in gasoline engine,and enhances the economical efficiency,the dynamic property and the environmental-friendliness of the engine.The quality of matching turbocharger with engine has a determining influence on the operating performance about the engine.For the performance requirements of urban SUV,studying on matching the turbocharge and JH4 GDI engine was made in this thesis.Based on the thermodynamic theory about the performance parameters of gasoline engine,counted performance parameters and geometrical parameters of compressor and turbine,then establishmented the size of the turbocharge,and elected two turbocharges having bypass valves with closed geometrical parameters.Constructed mathematical models about works of gasoline engine together with the turbocharge,then compared the calculated results about the performance curves of two turbocharges and two exhaust manifolds,to determine the suitable turbocharge and the suitable exhaust manifold.During this process,made choice of exhaust manifold by comparing the performance parameters of steady-state conditions and transient conditions.Then matching the choice turbocharge and the engine,designed test system for the performance parameters and Part-load performance of the JH4 GDI engine with the choice turbocharge,and made comparison between the testing results and the simulation results,to verify this matching method by the same results of testing and simulation,which are all meeting the demands.
