Research On Architectural Space Organization And Construction Based On Vertical Dimension

Since the modern architectural movement,"space" has been established as the "leading role" of architecture,which has become the focus of architects’ design and attention.At the same time,the rapid development of science and technology brought by the industrial revolution enables buildings to break through the limitations of technology and structure and continuously grow to the height.Now entering the information society,the design concept and form of space also present diversified development.As a three-dimensional volume with length,width and height,the organization of space is based on horizontal and vertical dimensions.In the horizontal dimension,the "domino" system of corbusier and the concept of "flowing space" of mies liberate the space from the bondage of walls.However,due to the earth’s gravity,human’s free activities are limited to the horizontal dimension,and the perception of space is more from the horizontal dimension.Even though architects have made a lot of attempts in vertical dimension,the cognition and practice exploration of vertical dimension are still a little insufficient compared with horizontal dimension.Therefore,this paper will focus on the vertical dimension of spatial organization and construction mode.First of all,this paper carries on the overall cognition regarding the core research object and the related basic theory.This paper analyzes the concept and spatial concept development of vertical dimension,and analyzes the development advantages of architectural space in vertical dimension.At the same time,the concept of architectural space,historical development,components and the relationship between space and construction are expounded.Secondly,by summarizing and analyzing a large number of cases,the paper explores the spatial organization mode and construction mode under the vertical dimension,classifies and summarizes the organization mode of typical space,and extracts the spatial organization prototype.Through graphic analysis of its concept generation and design ideas,from the function,space,path,urban environment and design dimensions and other aspects of the corresponding summary of the spatial construction model.Then,from the internal and external aspects,combined with examples,the paper expounds the factors influencing the organization and construction of architectural space in the vertical dimension,and puts forward the design principles to be followed in the space design in the vertical dimension.Thirdly,the paper discusses the application trend and prospect of sustainable design concept in vertical dimension architectural space design under the background of green and sustainable development.Finally,by integrating the above exploration results,the strategic approach of spatial organization and construction in vertical dimension is comprehensively elaborated,and the future development trend is forecasted.This paper attempts to establish a systematic framework and explore the creativity and inspiration of conceptual conception in architectural design practice.
