Research On Evolution And Innovative Design Of Living Space Of Tujia Traditional Dwellings In Western Hubei

In the course of historical development,restricted by the natural environment of different regions and the difference of economic development,traditional dwellings with different characteristics have gradually formed,which vividly reflects the relationship between human and nature,dwellings and residents.However,in recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization and the development of economic technology,the renewal of houses has been promoted,and more and more residents have chosen them.The traditional architectural style is facing decline in the practice of replacing old houses with new ones.At present,with the continuous integration of Han culture,Tujia's unique traditional residential form has gradually been sinicized,the form of living space has undergone great changes,and residents are gradually unable to meet the basic functions of the original residential,thus facing the transformation to modernization and spatial reconstruction.At present,the research on the living space of traditional dwellings has not attracted too much attention and attention,nor has it formed systematic and theoretical guidance.In the absence of benign guidance,residents are easy to go astray under the subjective consciousness of "following the trend" and "comparing".This paper mainly investigates and studies through literature review,case analysis,design demonstration and so on.From the theoretical perspective of housing science,the study takes the inheritance and optimization of the living space of traditional dwellings as the presupposition premise.Based on the classical model of Tujia traditional dwellings in Western Hubei,the evolution characteristics of plane layout,space form and technology are analyzed and solved.This paper analyses and combs the internal and external causes that cause the evolution of the living space of traditional dwellings,and summarizes the reasons combined with the development status of traditional dwellings of Tujia nationality,mainly embodied in the ideological concept,technological material innovation and ecological environment suitable for these three major parts.Based on this innovation dilemma,this paper makes a detailed Discussion on the transformation of national Folkways in Tangya Town and the Fuyang Wencun Village.Successful renovation cases such as farming houses are analyzed,and effective ways to optimize the function of living space in traditional dwellings are discussed in depth.Experiences and methods that can be used for reference are summarized in the cases.It lays a theoretical foundation for the following innovative empirical cases.In the design of the innovative scheme,it is proposed to take the protection of traditional dwellingsas the guide,the optimization of living space functions as the goal,and the improvement of living infrastructure as the means to realize the evolution and transformation of traditional living space,reconstruct the space which not only meets the living needs of modern residents,but also continues the traditional space context,and re-evoke the forgotten,abandoned and neglected space in traditional dwellings.At the same time,it arouses the concern about the relationship between the national elements in the living space,the significance of spatial feelings and the promotion of space.Taking Tangya Tusi traditional dwelling in Enshi Prefecture in Western Hubei as an example,this paper carries out an empirical case study on the optimal design of living space in traditional dwelling houses.Combining with the design methods in the successful cases of innovation of living space in traditional dwelling houses,starting from paying attention to residents' living comfort,it insists that the inheritance and improvement of living space must be based on the people-oriented concept to ensure service for people.Optimize the spatial layout of traditional dwellings,improve the living facilities,and form a targeted living space transformation planning strategy to achieve the sustainable development of traditional dwellings.The paper concludes that the following points should be considered in the design of the living space renovation of traditional dwellings: firstly,condensing the architectural elements of Tujia suspension tower in Western Hubei,not completely divorcing from the traditional architectural elements to select the modern residential mode;secondly,respecting the law of spatial evolution and development,carrying out rational and orderly planning and design;thirdly,realizing the needs of local residents;Its transformation should strengthen the enthusiasm of residents' participation,and realize the upgrading of residents' quality of life based on the changes of modern life mode.Fourthly,it should pay attention to the relationship between various types of living space,transform the space from single structure to compound structure by means of space combination,improve the requirements of life function,and form a complex upgrade of life,culture and leisure functions.
