The traditional village space texture is based on the political response, economic promotion, historical accumulation, cultural integration, ecological constraints, and the collision of social organizations. The complex "life system",in the process of its continuous development, performance Everywhere in the daily life of the villagers, there are ubiquitous and omnipresent existences, not only material elements, but also the external manifestations of non-material elements, which constitute the people's rich and diverse lifestyles, folk customs, and neighborhood relations. In order to explore the spatial characteristics and differentiation of traditional villages in Guizhou karst area, this study selects typical traditional villages in karst area as research objects.Based on relevant theories and research methods such as fractal and space syntax, this paper introduces the location and neighborhood scale and village boundary scale. The three concepts of detail and spatial scale study its spatial texture, and explore the factors influencing the formation of traditional villages based on texture characteristics. Finally, the formation mechanism of traditional village space texture in Guizhou karst area is obtained.Based on the research on the spatial texture of traditional villages formed under different nationalities, social environments and geomorphological environments in Guizhou, this study will show the organicity and richness of village texture in different environments. The research results will be important for the protection and development of traditional villages.Significance is of great value to the continuation of cultural heritage and complements the traditional village database in the karst area.Research indicates:(1)The spatial texture recognition system of traditional villages in Guizhou karst area is: two items(morphological characteristics and structural features)of the first-level indicators of places and neighborhoods, and six items of secondaryindicators(gap, fractal dimension, integration degree, connection value,Control value, density value);1 item(boundary feature)of the first level indicator of the village boundary scale,4 items of the second level index(boundary shape index, compactness, dispersion, average width of the marginal space);Items(real space and combination, virtual space features,fa?ade texture features, building skin shape),10 items of secondary indicators(planar type and proportion, node order, building density, architectural fineness, public space morphological characteristics, natural space)Morphological characteristics, interface continuity, cultural element construction, material category and composition, color classification and composition).(2)The central and western parts of the traditional villages in the karst area of Guizhou are greatly influenced by the mountains, focusing on the main roads of the“Miaojiang Corridor”.The eastern part is less affected and the traditional villages are widely distributed. The cluster types are classified into random type, uniform type and complex texture. The degree of sexuality is high and the irregularity is obvious;the spatial permeability, controllability and texture density of the village are general, but the comprehensibility is poor;the natural environment elements have obvious influence on the external texture of the village, and the adaptation to the topography and landform is strong.Sexuality and human factors have obvious influence on the internal texture of the village;the village can be divided into four types: random high dispersion type, random medium dispersion type, uniform medium aggregation type, and uniform high concentration type;the overall fractal of the village within the scope of the "Miaojiang corridor" The dimension is high, the spatial accessibility and permeability are strong, and the structural density is high. The greater the distance from the “Miaojiang Corridor”,the less obvious the shape and structural features.(3)The mid-boundary of the virtual space span of 30 m can accurately express the boundary shape of the village;the boundary shape of the village is determined by the aspect ratio and the weighted average shape index S;the dispersion reflects the shape of the two layers. The difference of shape index, the larger the value, the moreabundant the space;the density reflects the density of the building monomer gathering on the boundary, and the weighted average compactness W weight is the strongest correlation with the average compactness W;the average width of the edge space can react The richness of the edge space on the boundary, the total width of the total edge space L is always more correlated with the outer width L of the outer edge space.(4)The flat form of traditional residential buildings in Guizhou karst area is mainly in a single shape;the order of nodes can be determined by directionality, area difference and minimum distance between buildings;traditional villages in karst area tend to be low-density;Zhenshan Village is medium-sized Focusing on large-scale villages,Matou Village is a low-concentration and large-volume village.Tuile Village is a medium-distributed small-volume village;the morphological characteristics of public space texture and natural space texture are similar to those of village space, showing spatial complexity.High and concentrated distribution of morphological characteristics;traditional village construction areas are locally sourced and adapted to local conditions. The newly built areas focus on the integration of traditional building materials and modern building materials, and maintain a high degree of harmonious relationship with nature;the colors of the villages have both cold and warm colors, medium and high brightness,Low to medium chroma trend.(5)Traditional villages are organic aggregates of life, production and ecological space. The formation and evolution of spatial texture are influenced by both human geography elements and natural geographical elements.Human factors are mainly manifested in internal growth, and natural factors are mainly manifested in external constraints. The interaction mechanism between human factors, the interaction mechanism between natural factors, the interaction mechanism between human factors and natural factors, makes the traditional villages under the dual role of restraint and promotion, forming a unique spatial texture.
