| Currently most shipyards are in bad condition since the market of shipping industry is stagnant.Many shipyards have to transform their business to cope with this crisis.In this paper,D shipyard,a Korean invested enterprise in Dalian,is selected as case.At the initial stage,this shipyard ran well,but it suffers the steepest fall recent years because of adverse factors including plunged orders and fierce competition in the industry.To reverse the unfavorable situation,this company decides to carry out the business transformation specializing in ship repair and construction/ offshore and onshore project instead of ship repair.To reach this goal,it is critical for D shipyard to meet the human resource demand based on business transformation.The purpose of this essay is to research on D shipyard human resource allocation in process of business transformation with the theory of modern human resource allocation in order to Improve the human resource allocation status of shipyard and provide reference for other similar enterprises.The writing idea is put forward/analyze and solve problems.The first chapter include research background/ significance,research methods and thinking framework of the study.The second chapter include relative theory and knowledge.The third chapter shows that human resource allocation problems involving too many staff on total number/ too high ratio of management positions/ shortage on some job positions and bloated organization structure.In addition,this chapter explains the reasons that the company is lack of human resource planning/ position analysis and employee quality evaluation.The fourth chapter offer solution including making human resource planning/ carrying out job analysis and staff quality assessment.Finally,the fifth chapter suggest that the firm should take the following safeguards that shipyard should pay attention to human resource training/ information system and corporate culture. |
