In the power system,thunder and lightning impact will seriously affect the stability and reliability of the power supply system,resulting in power supply interruption or failure,which even endanger people,power grid and equipment,resulting in huge economic losses.This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the dielectric breakdown accident caused by the lightning strike of 66kV station on the 66kV Liuhe line in Liulin 220kV substation in Fushun.The corresponding lightning protection plan is formulated to prevent similar lightning accidents.The day in 2016,the 66kV Liuhe transmission line two was in a thunderstorm weather.After the line was hit by lightning,the lightning invasion wave was transmitted along the transmission line back to the road.As a result,the lightning invasion wave on the circuit breaker in the disconnection state will be fully reflected,causing the lightning overvoltage to rise to twice as high as the value,which will eventually lead to the insulation breakdown or ground discharge of the circuit breaker or the electrical equipment adjacent to the circuit breaker.Fushun and environmental factors such as weather,lightning characteristics,equipment itself parameters and characteristic are analyzed.The lightning accident process,results and causes of the accident are analyzed.Come to a conclusion that the direct lightning invasion wave is the direct cause of the accident,and the root cause is the deficiencieson of the equipment and the operation mode.In view of the analysis content of this lightning accident,the corresponding lightning protection management plan has been formulated.The "zero" type protection mode and the protection equipment improvement plan are proposed,which has been applied in the actual situation and the effect is remarkable.Through the discussion and analysis of the lightning strike insulation breakdown accident,the lightning protection management plan are formulated,and the lightning protection technology is hope to develop vigorously.The lightning protection technology can be improved on the modern science and comprehensive protection level,the lightning protection ability of the electric power system will be optimized,which can ensure the safe and stable operation of the electric power system.
