Research On Daqing City Public Buildings Suitable For Cold Climate

As the speeding up of globalization and urbanization,the architecture,city and even the whole human living environment are facing the same problem of local characteristics disappear.Modern science,technology and industry while giving human strong survival ability,also bring huge damage effects:many buildings adopt new materials such as concrete,steel and glass abandon traditional building skills and features,break up the relationship between buildings and cities,and make the cities images converge.As a typical northeast city,Daqing's public buildings are facing problems of design convergence and local city features neglect under the context of seek quick success and instant benefits.Walking in the city,new buildings of new materials are appear alternately,and the domes,pilaster,glass curtain wall and other decorative elements which were used in wstern buildings are abundant emerge in all kinds of daqing's public buildings.How to keep Daqing city's own feature while cope with the cold climate becomes the primary problem of public building design.This study,under the base of literature search and field investigation,explores Daqing city's public buildings under cold climate impacts and finally puts forwards several theories suitable for cold region building design.Paper firstly analyzes the origin and status of Daqing city's public buildings,summarizes factors,such as culture and climate,which could influence public buildings design,and points out the design problems in aesthetics,function and skill;Secondly puts forwars "double-appropriate"theory suitable for Daqing city including moderate theory and appropriate theory,and sets Daqing Wanda Plaza as an example to analyze the application of this theory;Finally puts forwars "three-nature" theory which is return to city origin including authenticity,harmonization and urbanism.Authenticity emphasis on form and color's reality,harmonization emphasizes the integration of landscape and natural resources,and urbanism emphasizes the path of regional image and road control,finally sets Daqing road passenger transport station as an exampl to demonstrate the application of "three-nature".This study,on the base of investigation and comparative analysis,puts forwars several design theory,which has important guiding significance to Daqing city's development and makes benefical attempts to city's public building design under background of new matericals and new skills.
