Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid growth of economic development,people’s demand for leisure and entertainment places is also increasing.Commercial blocks have become one of the main leisure and entertainment spaces for urban residents.They are the areas where urban residents carry out activities and gather various artificial heat.It is urgent to improve the planning and design of commercial blocks.Therefore,exploring how to make landscape design an effective means to mitigate the impact of climate change and create comfortable commercial pedestrian streets has become a research worthy of attention.Based on the climate characteristics of Chengdu,this study extracts the main landscape factors which have great influence on the thermal comfort of microclimate in Taikoo Li commercial block,hoping to provide some guidance for the future thermal comfort of urban street space.Based on the field investigation of Taikoo Li,this paper firstly classifies the space of Taikoo Li commercial block into two types: square space and roadway space.And summarized the main landscape factors in each space: building enclosure,vegetation,water,underlying surface and other major factors in the proportion of space and the specific situation.Finally,three test areas were randomly selected from the two space types of Taikoo Li,and the measured data were compared and analyzed.Then,the ENVI-met Microclimate Simulation software was used to analyze the results.The following conclusions were drawn:1.The main landscape factors affecting outdoor microclimate thermal comfort in Taiguri commercial district are building enclosure and D/H value,in which D/H ratio is better than that in <1;secondly,the influence of vegetation condition in space,the arrangement of trees and shrubs at the spatial boundary with the central space tree array or row trees can effectively reduce the air temperature in space;The use of living water landscape in the interior can reduce the air humidity more effectively than static water landscape,and the different choice of underlying surface material can affect the air temperature to a small extent.2.The outdoor microclimate comfort of roadway space in Taikoo Li commercial district is higher than that of square space.Among them,the main way of enclosure of roadway space is "canyon type",and D/H is less than 1,and the way of plant collocation in roadway space is more abundant than that in square space,which is the way of arbor + shrub collocation.It is found that the water landscape in the roadway space of Taikoo Li commercial district has a greater impact on the outdoor air humidity.The results show that although the area of water body and vegetation in test area 6 is larger than that in test area 5,the humidification effect of test area 5 is more obvious because of the living water landscape.It can be seen that the wetting effect of living water landscape is better than that of still water landscape in outdoor space.3.Combining with the previous research,this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the thermal comfort of microclimate based on the application of landscape factors such as building enclosure,plant collocation,waterscape construction and underlying surface materials in commercial blocks.First,it is necessary to pay attention to the higher thermal comfort of microclimate in outdoor space when the D/H ratio is less than 1.Second,if the enclosure mode is established,the thermal comfort of microclimate in outdoor space is higher.Secondly,the space can be enclosed by vegetation and water body.In the border area,a variety of plant combinations,such as trees and shrubs,can be used to enclose the boundary.At the same time,the material selection of underlying surface should be as few as possible with marble material and reduce the high temperature in the evening caused by space heat dissipation.
