Ancient buildings are rare and non-renewable resources,and they are the focus of national cultural relics protection.In recent years,fire accidents have occurred in ancient Chinese buildings,the loss of personnel and property in the building is very heavy.Therefore,actively carrying out scientific and reasonable fire risk assessment is an important way to protect the ancient buildings.This paper uses field research and literature research methods to classify the types of fire hazard sources in ancient buildings.Based on the principles of objectivity,science and feasibility,established a risk assessment index system framework for ancient buildings based on human risk factors,risk factors of materials,environmental risk factors and management risk factors,and sorted out the main hazards and disadvantages of fires leading to ancient buildings.By analyzing three types of large evaluation models,it is determined that the semi-quantitative Gustav method is applied to the fire risk assessment of ancient buildings.Combined with the traditional Gustav fire risk assessment model,considering the seasonal characteristics of the ancient buildings,flammable categories,personnel characteristics and delay factors of the ancient buildings to improve the traditional semi-quantitative Gustav fire risk assessment model,redefine the 16 types of factors in the model,and explore a soft-level fire risk assessment model suitable for ancient buildings.Identify the fire hazard source of the Sanyuan Chenghuang Temple ancient building complex,and use the improved Gustav method to comprehensively evaluate the fire risk of the open buildings in the peak season building,obtain the risk distribution map,analyze the building fire risk results,and give some suggestions on the selection and layout of fire protection facilities in the ancient building groups.According to the protection status of ancient buildings,the risk assessment database of ancient buildings based on BIM platform is proposed to realize the standardized input of building information,material information and fire protection facilities information,and realize the dynamic information management of fire risk of ancient buildings.
