Iron tailings sand concrete made by mixing natural sand with iron tailings sand as fine aggregate into concrete is a kind of green environmental protection building material. The utilization of tailings has largely solved the problems of shortage of building materials and environmental pollution.Reinforced concrete beams are the most basic bearing components in construction and other engineering structures, and have a wide range of applications. It is important to study the shear capacity of concrete beams with iron tailings for evaluating the safety performance of structures and the sustainable development of structures. This project not only promotes the application of environmental protection and energy saving building materials, but also provides a theoretical basis for the application of iron tailings concrete in practical projects. In this experiment,18 tailings sand concrete beams and 6 ordinary river sand concrete beams were fabricated. The shear performance and bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beams were studied by comparing the strength grade, shear span ratio and stirrup ratio. The research contents and results are as follows:1)Through the shear bearing capacity test of tailings sand concrete simplesupported beams, the shear failure modes and failure mechanism of tailings sand concrete beams are revealed, and the similarities and differences between the shear performance of tailings sand concrete simple-supported beams and that of ordinary concrete simplesupported beams are compared.2)The influence of strength grade, stirrup ratio and shear span ratio of tailings sand concrete on its shear bearing capacity is analyzed. The bearing capacity of iron tailings sand concrete beams with the same strength, same shear span ratio and stirrup ratio is higher than that of simple supported ordinary concrete beams.3)Processing data, because the formula for calculating the shear capacity of ordinary concrete beams deviates from that of iron tailings concrete beams, the formula for calculating the shear strength of ordinary concrete beams is modified to be suitable for iron tailings concrete beams.Figure40;Table14;Reference 55...
