With the rapid development of urbanization in our country, more and more building materials demand quantity.It make the concrete aggregate increasing scarcely, there was a serious crisis in concrete stone, sand and other raw materials. But with the rapid development of metallurgical industry, the tail of iron ore, the stockpiling of serious damage to the surrounding natural environment, which cause serious damage to the human survival environment. In this research, the additive is added in the iron ore tailings in concrete, with iron tailings to replace the ordinary river sand into concrete, explore the iron tailings sand reinforced concrete beam flexural function, to achieve not only solve the problem of shortage of fine aggregate concrete, achieve rational utilization of iron ore tailings objective.Through experiment, comparing the flexural performance experiment of 15 iron tailings sand reinforced concrete beams and 3 root river sand reinforced concrete beams,explore the iron ore tailings in the change of concrete strength grade concrete beam,flexural performance of normal section of reinforced diameter beam. Through the comparison of iron tailings sand reinforced concrete beams and ordinary river sand reinforced concrete beam flexural ultimate bearing capacity, deflection, evaluation and then draw the flexural behavior of reinforced concrete iron tailings.By analyzing the load deflection curve comparison, yield the same level of iron tailings sand reinforced concrete beams and ordinary river sand concrete beam, cracking, ultimate load of approximately the same. Two kinds of reinforced concrete beam’s ultimate load value is not much.Induction of experimental study results, the flexural performance of reinforced concrete beam of iron tailings and river sand reinforced concrete beam had little difference. On the flexural strength of beam, the calculation formula of reinforced concrete beams can be used in iron tailings sand reinforced concrete beam, that is iron tailing sand can replace ordinary river sand preparation into concrete applied to concrete flexural members.
