Research On The Layout Of Public Bicycle System Based On Open Data

The public bicycle system is an important part of the urban public transport system.In recent years,a number of studies have focused on the layout of the public traffic stations because of the widespread of the concepts of wisdom city and wisdom traffic.However,the researches about public bicycle system is still depending on traditional methods,and do not match its degree of concern.The open data give us a new perspective in time and space behavior analysis of public bicycle system.Meanwhile,under the situation of data explosion and the prosses of open data,these data will play more and more important role in urban planning and transportation planning.This paper starts with the analysis of operating public bicycle system in Pinghu city by associating the operating data and currently accessible open data.Followed quantitative analyzing of users’ habits,using frequencies and the relationship between the use of bicycles and urban space agglomeration.Thirdly the summary of the existing problems,the proposed optimization in future planning are suggested.Finally,a rational model is concluded for similar city as guideline to construct public bicycle system,while the research method can be extended to the study of other traffic sites.This research intends to promote applications of open data in the field of urban studies.Meanwhile,the process of open data in cities can also be activated on the demand side.And the more people understand the value of the applications of open data,the more social parties and resources will involve in the innovation and application of open data.
