With the rapid development of China's economy and the acceleration of urbanization process,in order to meet the needs of building large space or urban landmarks, connected structures have been favored by architects in recent years. In asymmetric connected high-rise structures, the connector plays an important role in restraining and coordinating the relative displacement and deformation of the tower.Aiming at the real project, the author first uses SATWE software to analyze the elasticity of reinforced concrete asymmetrical connected high-rise structures under multiple earthquakes. Some main parameters and calculation results are discussed to see if the performance target of "small earthquake is not bad" can be achieved. Then,on the basis of this, the elastic-plastic analysis and comparison of the high-rise structures with asymmetric steel truss and reinforced concrete beam connections are carried out.The main contents in this study are as follows:1.The elastic-plastic time history analysis of reinforced concrete beam connected asymmetrical high-rise structure was carried out using Sausage software. The seismic performance of this type of asymmetrical high-rise structure was reasonably evaluated. The location of damage and the degree of elastic-plastic deformation can be used to obtain the seismic performance of this type of engineering and to judge the ductility of this kind of structure.2.As for the asymmetrically connected high-rise structures with steel trusses, the elastic-plastic time history analysis was carried out by using the Midas Building software. The elastic-plastic calculation results are obtained and compared with the results of structures with reinforced concrete beam connecters.Through the above research work, the weak parts and stress characteristics of this type of connected structure are found out,and the strengthening measures needed in seismic design are put forward for designers to refer to these weak parts and stress characteristics.A brief summary of the above research results is made. The research of this topic has certain guiding value for the design and oversize examination of the same type of asymmetric twin-tower connected structure.
