The Research On The Usage Of The Plaza Of The Temple In Macau

Temples have always been an important role in people's minds or in history and culture.There is no doubt that there will be a lot of research and exploration;however,the temple square is a space that is accompanied by temples and is also part of the urban public space.With the rapid development of the city,coupled with social factors such as land development,road development,community changes,etc.,the temple square space used to be a political,religious,economic and cultural center of a community,forming a cultural cohesion and social function.Today,no matter how different the spatial form or content has changed,it has gradually lost its original spatial and secular functions.Through the analysis of the different functions and uses of urban space and Macao Temple Square,this paper explores the influencing factors in the development process to understand their roles and functions;Through field research of research cases,using map marking method,on-site counting method and trajectory recording method as records,the collected data will be sorted and comprehensively analyzed,and then the comprehensive analysis of the use of the temples in Macau will be made.From the perspective of environmental change,community function,and use form change,we summarize the problems that are common in the use of Macao Temple Plaza,and propose relevant optimization strategies from the aspects of enhancing community participation and increasing community cultural activities and facilities.
