Post-occupancy Evaluation Of Outpatient Department Public Space In Guangzhou's Large General Hospital

With the rapid improvement of China's economic level and the continuous development of science and technology,the medical treatment mode of modern society is developing new changes and development.Our existing large general hospitals generally have problems such as large quantities in outpatient department,insufficient space,long waiting time,and poor service facilities.The outpatient department public environment needs to be improved.In recent years,the public space design of the outpatient department has been widely concerned by the public.The humanized design of the public space in the outpatient department is concerned,but the research of Post occupancy Evaluation of the outpatient department is still insufficient.Based on the status quo,the author chooses to study the POE of the outpatient department in Guangzhou's large general hospitals,and hopes to summarize the research results that are conducive to the development of our hospital's architectural design with the evaluation of the existing hospital.This paper is divided into three parts : the preparation phase,application phase and summary phase.Preparation stage(Chapters 1 and 2): This stage briefly describes the research background and current status about the public space of the outpatient department and Post-occupanc-valuation,expounds the research significance and research framework of this paper,and defines the research object.Combining the theoretical research of the evaluation factor with the user's needs,five factor sets and 15 factors are proposed.Application stage(Chapters 3 and 4): At this stage,the subjective and objective evaluation methods are determined.The evaluation model is established based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process,and the factor weights are determined through calculation.Secondly,three hospitals in Guangzhou were selected to conduct Post occupancy Evaluation study,and obtaining the evaluation scores of the three hospitals to summarize the current status.Summary stage(Chapter 5): At this stage,the subjective and objective evaluation results of the three hospitals were compared horizontally,and the results of the Post-Occupancy-Evaluation of outpatient department public space were summarized,and optimization suggestions were proposed for the existing problems of the three hospitals.
