Study On The Impact Of Energy Exploitation On Employment In Xinjiang

Energy is the core driving force of economic development and social production,the necessary material basis to meet people's living needs,and the basic guarantee to promote coordinated economic and social development and improve people's living standards.Xinjiang is an important energy production base in China and has unique energy resources,among which the proven reserves of oil,natural gas and coal account for 30%,34% and 40% of the same resources in China respectively.Improving the development and utilization efficiency of Xinjiang's energy resources plays an important role in promoting sustainable social and economic development and expanding employment.Employment is one of the hot topics in today's society,people's life,relationship to the vital interests of the people,and the relationship between the great goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way,in the 19 big report clearly pointed out that to insist on employment priority strategy and the positive employment policy,achieve higher quality and full employment,and improve the quality of employment and people's income level.Therefore,the CPC central committee attaches great importance to social employment.In order to improve the employment rate,the central government has put forward and implemented a series of policies to promote employment.Therefore,to improve the employment level in Xinjiang requires the government to combine relevant policies on energy development.This paper Based on the advantages of Xinjiang's energy exploitation,studies the influence of Xinjiang's energy exploitation on employment.The research content is divided into three levels: The first level is the basic concept and relevant theoretical analysis,the second level is the analysis of the current situation of Xinjiang's energy development and employment and its mechanism,and the third level is the empirical analysis and countermeasures and Suggestions.This paper systematically reviews the relevant literatures on the relationship between energy exploitation and employment at home and abroad,and holds that energy exploitation can promote employment through promoting economic growth,improving technological level and increasing investment.Based on the above theoretical analysis,combining with the situation of energy development and employment growth in Xinjiang,the time series data from 1990 to 2017 were used to sort out and calculate variables affecting employment such as the gross domestic product,employment,energy production and energy industry investment in Xinjiang.Firstly,eviwes7.2 measurement software was used to empirically analyze the impact of Xinjiang's energy development on employment in the whole society through multiple linear regression method.Secondly,the VAR model is constructed to analyze the short-term and long-term effects of the number of employees in major energy industries and their influencing factors.Study shows that the energy production in Xinjiang,the increase of the energy industry investment,economic growth,government intervention has promoting effect to social employment,output,investment,but the energy industry technology progress the impact of factors such as the lag of employment are different,so make the dialectical view of factors of production inputs effects on employment.
