Production line is the core unit of enterprise operation,and it is the foothold of enterprise management elements such as enterprise operation efficiency,benefit,quality,cost,delivery time,safety,morale and environment.Production line management is directly related to the survival and development of enterprises and the promotion of market competitiveness.The transformation and upgrading of enterprise production lines is an important starting point for enterprise transformation and upgrading and high-quality development,and it is also the basic position to promote the construction of China ’s manufacturing power.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the problem of production line transformation.MF company is a sealed electromagnetic relay enterprise in Xiamen,which is currently in the stage of rapid development.However,the company’s production line has been in operation for many years,and there are many problems,which gradually cannot meet the growing business needs of the enterprise.Therefore,this thesis takes the crystal hood series relay production line of MF company as the research object,starting from the related research on the production line transformation of System Layout Planning(SLP)and production line balance theory at home and abroad,through the introduction of the production process characteristics and production layout status of the crystal hood series relay production line of MF company.Then,the value stream map is used to analyze the production status and resource situation,and it is identified that the production line has the problems of long production cycle,low line balance rate,unreasonable layout planning and many WIP inventory.Aiming at the problems existing in the production line,the transformation scheme of the crystal cover series relay production line is proposed.The SLP method is used to transform the production layout to solve the problem of production line handling waste;then,through 5W1 H,ECRS principle and man-machine operation analysis,the bottleneck process and other processes of the production line are reformed to improve the balance rate of the production line.Through the establishment of equipment management process and the use of 6S management,the production line site management is optimized to reduce the occurrence of equipment anomalies and improve production transparency.Finally,the simulation model of the modified crystal cover series relay production line is established on the Plant Simulation software,and the data output by the simulation model is used to compare and analyze the line balance rate,WIP inventory,production cycle time and other indicators before and after the transformation of the production line.The system simulation results show that the reformed crystal cover series relay production line meets the future market demand,and the balance rate of the production line is increased by21.66 %.The manufacturing cycle is shortened by 25.86 days,and the inventory of products is reduced by 16463.The handling distance and handling times are also reduced,and the production personnel are reduced by 17 people.The results show that the transformation scheme proposed in this thesis has obvious transformation effect,which can effectively improve the production line efficiency to meet the capacity target of market demand.This thesis provides ideas for similar enterprises to solve the problems of insufficient capacity and long production and manufacturing cycle.
