Study On Residential Space Design Of Pension Agency Under Aip Mode

The trend of aging is intensifying in the world,this phenomenon is particularly evident in China.The way of life for the elderly has become a hot topic in China.At the same time,with the changing of the living structure for Chinese families and the increasing proportion of disabled elderly in China,China need more pension institutions to deal with this social problem.In this context,the society began to focus on the living space design for the pension institutions.Currently,the design for living space for elderly in China is relatively backward compared with Western countries.The elderly in China have a poor living experience in traditional pension institution,especially for the bad living space design.Therefore,it is difficult for elderly to achieve the expected goal of "active aging",so the design of the living space of institutions needs to be optimized.This paper takes the Wenjiang District of Chengdu as an example to study the design of living space in pension institutions.Through the study of foreign literature and Chinese literature,this paper will start from AIP model and explore the characteristics and advantages of residential space design in these AIP mode pension institutions in Western countries.At the same time,these advantages provide reference for the residential space design of Chinese pension institutions.By conducting demand analysis and questionnaire survey on the elderly to find the practical needs for elderly and theoretical support.The pension institutions in Wenjiang District were selected as the research object.Analyzing and discussing the main contradiction between the design of living space in current pension institutions and the needs of the elderly.According to the problems of the living space of in the current pension institution,combined with the needs of the elderly.Proposed an exploratory design strategy of living space of pension institutions under the AIP model.Creating an elderly group which can make the elderly have a sense of belonging.This group can gather the elderly in one place and make life more convenient by improve accessibility.Meanwhile,this group can form a fixed social circle to help the elderly get rid of loneliness.Environmental design based on the needs of the elderly.The study of living space design started from practicality,barrier-free,safety,comfort,privacy,personalized,etc.By this way to find a design method to improving the living experience for elderly.Create a space with variability and adaptability,so that the living space can be transformed with the aging of the elderly,avoid the elderly moving frequently,and always meet the needs of the elderly.The research aims at the appropriate design methods for self-care elderly and nursing elderly respectively.so as to open up a feasible new way for the residential space design and development of pension institutions.
