Automobile is typically a big manufacturing industry with a large number of assembly parts,generally requests cooperation by supplier,OEM and supplier chain.OEM has to use layered management method when facing hundreds of different suppliers and focus specifically on Strategic supplier management,accordingly the way of strategic supplier evaluation and selection will be the most significant decision for OEM purchasing,also the key factor of leading extended,stable and long-term relationship between OEM and suppliers,which critically influences the way OEM operates.However,there are still something to be improved such as the simplex method and standard of evaluation,the lack of research that different evaluation systems according to different industries separately,the scattershot way of supplier selection and evaluation,the inconsideration of cooperation ability between OEM and suppliers and the innovation and development of suppliers.CMA is now at the stage of requiring an appropriate management system of strategic supplier selection and evaluation.The large number of suppliers have been layered down and analyzed that there are 70% of its business concentrates on only 30% of suppliers.As a result,CMA is looking forward to focusing on this critical group of supplier which has opportunity to be strategy supplier through an appropriate selection and evaluation system.This thesis attempts to study and break through the bottle neck issue of existed supplier selection and evaluation way of CMA and settle up a new research of strategy supplier selection and appraisement by using SWOT and PEST tools on the basis of the existed supplier system management experiences under supplier chain collaboration circumstances.AHP tools is to establish a practical supplier evaluation standard for CMA which is a method that tears a complicating issue down to several simple targets and eventually pieces.AHP calculates the weight of each level by the fuzzy quantization method and verifies the consistence afterwards.Technically the first step is to clarify issue and build up layer syntactic model,then construct the judgment matrix and assign its value,ultimately verify the consistence according to the weight of each level.This thesis contributes a new supplier evaluation system with 8 first grade indicators and 34 subgrade indicators including supplier quality,business,delivery,R&D,continuous development,long-term collaboration,environment protection and strategy elements,which has been quantized and weight model rested to improve its operability and reliability,voiding the disputation from different industry and eventually resolve the practical issues of CMA supplier layered management on supplier selection and evaluation.CMA has appraised its first batch of strategy supplier through the new system and proved that the theory analysis matches the calculation which verifies the advantage and efficiency of new standard and evaluation system.
