| As an important way of Chinese electric power companies going global,international EPC project of thermal power plant has developed greatly in recent years.Meanwhile,it is often heard that serious schedule delay happened and EPC contractors are faced with large claim for compensation and negative image.Boiler island is the major component of a thermal power plant and is on the critical path of project schedule,which has the most work quantities,the longest installation and commissioning period.It is of great meaning to identify,analyze,find out major risk sources and make effective measures at the beginning of a project,which can help to guarantee schedule of boiler island and that of the whole power plant.This paper attempts to collect and summarize the schedule risks of boiler island happened in the executed projects of my company by means of Risk checklist method.Expert meeting method is also adopted to make risk checklist complete and then risk list is got.Then all risks in the list are analyzed one by one to make it clear that why the risks will happen and under what conditions the risks will happen.AHP is applied to establish risk evaluation model of boiler island schedule risks.Finally,this paper makes relevant measures to guarantee the schedule.At last,this paper conducts a case study on ‘Project B’ in Malaysia.Schedule risks of boiler island and verify the applicability of the research results on schedule risk of boiler island in international EPC project of thermal power plant.The methods and steps of risk identification and analysis used in this paper has played a certain role in the schedule risk management of boiler island in international EPC projct of thermal power plant.The methods can be as a reference for projects in the future. |
