Dianshan Lake is the largest natural lake in Shanghai.With the advancement of urbanization,the development strength and the interference scope of the water environment and land around the Dianshan Lake keeps expanding,which lead to different degrees of degradation of the natural environment and ecological system and the declining trend of quality of the waterfront landscape in the water zone.Dianshan Lake and the surrounding rivers,lakes and wetlands contain abundant water resources,Dianshan Lake and the surrounding rivers and lakes,wetlands contains abundant water resources,and its water environment has important value of the landscape,so its essential to protect and repair it.Firstly,we need to evaluate the quality of the landscape.Firstly,we made the investigation of the landscape of Dianshan Lake coastal zone,and cleared the research object,which was divided into 4 kinds of waterfront landscape--the lake shoreline,the village river,the agriculture and forestry rivers and the breeding ponds.Then combined with literature review and expert consultation in screening the assessment index,we construct the assessment system by using the method of “AHP”.The quality assessment system of the waterfront landscape of the coastal zone in Dianshan Lake consists of water,vegetation,spatial elements,geographical and cultural elements of 4 criteria layer index(water,vegetation,spatial elements,elements of local culture)and 16 index layer index.According to the weight,the rankings from high to low were: water clarity,the typicality of the water town,the connectivity degree of the local culture and native environment,land use pattern of the shore,waterfront naturalness,landscape coordination,plants health status,riparian vegetation width,landscape hierarchy,aquatic plant coverage,landscape diversity,proportion of native plants,planting way,scenic beauty of the plant,richness of community structure,species richness.Based on the construction of the assessment system,we made the assessment of the waterfront landscape.The results show that: Regional waterfront landscape got II grade as a whole,scoring 3.05.The village rivers,the agricultural and forestry rivers got grade II with scores of 3.12 and 3.09,but the landscape of the lake waterfront and the pond landscape got grade III with scores of 2.98 and 2.73.From the score of each index,we can see,the indexes with the top 3 highest scores are: Plants health status,Plants health status,Proportion of native plants,respectively 4.77,4.11,4.07.The plants health status is better,and more plants are planted naturally,and the proportion of native plants is up to 83%.The indexes with the last 3 lowest scores are: Aquatic plant coverage,Aquatic plant coverage,Water clarity,respectively 0.91,1.98,2.30.Due to the limitation of land use and other reasons,the coverage rate of aquatic plants and the width of shore vegetation are low.Because of the pollution of the production and living,the grade of the water quality in this area is V to inferior V.The surface of the water is covered with water hyacinth,water bloom etc.According to the assessment results,we puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from 4 aspects: water,vegetation,spatial elements and regional cultural elements.The water aspect contains of water pollution control,water shoreline control and the construction of wetland.The vegetation aspect contains of community patterns and species recommendation.The spatial elements aspect contains of landscape diversity,landscape coordination and landscape hierarchy.The regional cultural elements aspect mainly relates to the landscape elements and landscape space.We try to provide advice to the landscape protection and optimization of Dianshan Lake in Shanghai through the corresponding optimization measures and landscape pattern.
