The Comprehensive Evaluation Walkability And Optimization Disign Of Nanning "San Jie Liang Xiang" Historic Conservation Block

The rapid growth of Chinese economy leads to an obvious term of urban agglomeration effect,meanwhile,the "city disease" has become more intensive than it used to be.In this case,developing a sustainable city is now reaching a common agreement that low-carbon travel and green life style are the most environmental friendly way to proceed.In according to thus,walking as well as pedestrian environment needs to be improved.Therefore,combining planning practical and theory will be significant to provide comprehensive research and suggestion optimization.The thesis has involved ranges of domestic and international research of "walkable" environment,and more importantly indicates several research orientations.Taking examples of South China University of Technology's research topic in walking evaluation framework and system,evaluation ideas and methods,the thesis aims to identify the term of walkability,Nanning City's "San jie liang xiang" historical cultural street,and provide characteristics quantitative evaluations.The thesis start with the research of domestic and international cases,then comes to the research outcome of "Zhujiang New Town Core Area walkability comprehensive evaluation framework and quantitative evaluations"(Zhang Qi),"The pedestrian evaluation and optimization of Guangzhou Bejing Road Block based on the daily facilities"(Huang Songsong),"Beijing Road commercial cultural street walkability evaluation and optimization research"(Xie Zhaoyu).By reviewing the concept of walkability,evaluation framework and methods,the thesis provide comprehensive evaluation in the aspect of daily facilities and walking environment.The practical part refers to Nanning City's "San jie liang xiang",the study has covered its existing condition and summary of preliminary work.The author collects data of "San jie liang xiang" via site visit,and finally,finishing final data analysis and evaluation.The thesis will finalize the evaluation framework and method via the practical research,and provide suggestion optimization.The thesis is consists of four major part: Part 1,Introduction,Part 2 Establishing evaluation framework,Part 3 Data collection and analysis,Part 4 Analysis of existing issues and providing optimization options.The suggestion optimization will base on the data analysis and support research summary and expectation.
