The XOD model is a complex new development model oriented to urban infrastructure.Its philosophy is to promote the integrated development of infrastructure and land for transportation,services,culture,ecology,industry,etc.,to promote rational urban layout and improve overall efficiency.With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the new urban area has gradually become the focus of construction.However,in the process of development of the new urban area,there are many problems such as rapid expansion,inconvenient transportation,imperfect supporting facilities or deterioration of the ecological environment.In the context of new urbanization,we should change the inherent mode of planning and integrate a new development concept to improve the space environment of the new urban area.Therefore,taking the XOD mode as the guide,it is timely to explore the strategy of spatial optimization in China's urban new district.Through the detailed interpretation of the XOD mode,based on the relevant case practice and theoretical research,summarize the problems existing in the development of urban new districts in China.Summarizing the development concept of the XOD model is of great significance to the spatial optimization of urban new districts in China: avoiding the disorderly expansion of the new district space,optimizing the spatial layout of the new district,giving full play to the effectiveness of the public infrastructure,and promoting the sustainable development of the new urban district.The paper takes Xi'an Chanba Ecological District as the research object.Through the analysis of the status quo,summarize the plight of the Spatial development of Chanba Ecological District.On this basis,The strategy of space optimization based on XOD mode is proposed.Firstly,proposed the goal of space optimization,optimize Chanba Ecological District into an urban sub-center of ecological,complex,intensive and characteristic.Secondly,optimize the spatial structure of Chanba Ecological District.Using the "point-axis" space expansion mode,to organize the spatial pattern of Chanba Ecological District with a multi-center organization,construct a networked spatial composite structure of “one center,two development axes,three spatial nodes,and five large areas”.Finally,the specific measures for spatial optimization of the XOD model-oriented of Chanba Ecological District are proposed:1)Adhere to ecological priority,delineate the spatial development ecological control line of Chanba Ecological District,and construct the ecological network space by EOD to form a “one core,two corridors,three zones,and point and line combination” Chanba Ecological District green space system;2)Combine the orbital site to construct the public transportation network system with TOD,and divide the TOD of Chanba Ecological District into two types: urban center TOD and residential group TOD;3)Combine the TOD site,use SOD to build a public service system,and form a level 4public service system,which is the core of the Chanba core area service center– the business sub-center – each group service center – 15 minutes in the residential area.Function circle;4)Realize the spatial layout of the integration of the production city in the IOD model,divide Chanba Ecological District into seven different types of industrial divisions,and play their respective regional characteristics to form an interconnected industrial cluster;5)Adhere to the COD model concept,integrate the characteristics of Chanba Characteristic culture,and create a characteristic urban space in Chanba Ecological District.
