Platform Setting Method Considering Passenger Flow Direction

Abstract/Summary:
With the scale of city and industrial expanding gradually,the urban population increase constantly.Urban road traffic system can not satisfy the travel requirements of modern society,and the subway has become one of the effective means to ease traffic pressure.However,the service of subway system didn’t seem to meet the requirements of design.On platform,there are different pedestrian flow.The intersection bring mutual interference to pedestrians,which would produce a negative impact on the platform.Under mis background this paper studie pedestrian conflicts.The interaction rule of different passenger flows and the relationship between passenger flow size and interleaving delay are obtained.The method of platform facilities setting considering passenger flow ratio is put forward,which can provide reference for the establishment of railway platform facilities.The paper firstly analyzes the causes of pedestrian conflicts on platform,and divide effect factors into the characteristics of platform and passenger flow conditions.The conflict of pedestrians is more visible in front staircase zone.According to the data collected from the subway stations in Shenzhen City,paper puts emphasis on stairway,escalator and the layout of them,also compares their characteristics..Analyz the crowd pedestrian flow lines,puts forward a novel approach for platform classification based on layout of facilities.After learning laws of passenger flows and pedestrian behavior theory,this paper choses three evaluation indexes: occupying space of the pedestrian,service quality of pedestrian evacuation,delay caused by pedestrian conflicts,which can be used to measure convenience and comfort during the traveling time on platform.Then,based on survey data and theoretical model,paper restablishes an AnyLogic simulation model,considering passenger choice behaviors.By changing the passenger flow form different directions in the process of simulation,outputting the evaluation indexes,the influence between different passenger flow is researched.It comes out that convergence of evacuation passenger form different sides on the same island-platform has little negative influence on the travel speed depression.To the side close to exit escalator,entering and leaving passenger flow will form lane to avoid conflict.Only when passenger flow is large,lane width limited,they have mutual effects.Pedestrian weaving mainly caused by the cross between the entering passenger flow to one side near exit escalator and leaving passenger flow from both side.The functions are fired about the relationship between pedestrian weaving delay and passenger flow form different directions.At last,paper proposes a optimization method for facilities layout of the platform pedestrian weawing zone.Type of facility are selected,according to leaving passenger flow.Then,by detects pedestrian weaving delay,landscape layout is set in order to reduce delay.And longitudinal layout was finally determined on the basis of characteristics of three evaluation indexes.
