With the urbanization level promoting constantly in China,Blocks of big cities gradually shows a tendency of higher density,which aggravates the deterioration of outdoor wind environment and acoustic environment.Thus the problems of natural ventilation and traffic noise in urban blocks have attracted more and more people's attention.At present,architects and urban designers seldom consider the effect of wind environment and acoustic environment in the process of urban design,it because the theoretical research don't closely relate to design practice.The urban spatial morphology has been proved affecting the qualities of wind environment and acoustic environment.But previous relevant researches show that the variety of urban spatial form could arise opposite change between wind environment and acoustic environment.This contradiction will result in the urban design caring for one and losing the other.So the research coupling wind environment and acoustic environment is necessary.This paper focuses on outdoor wind environment and acoustic environment of high-density blocks,and explores their coupling relationship on urban spatial morphology in both medium and micro scale.This paper mainly adopts four research methods: literature review,field study,simulation analysis and statistical analysis.The basic research summarizes the definition and characteristics of high-density blocks,the urban morphological indexes related to wind and acoustic environment,and also the problems,evaluation methods and research methods of wind environment and acoustic environment.Before the main research,field investigation of the wind and acoustic environment in high-density area were carried out,and the accuracy of the simulation software was tested by comparing the simulation value with the measurement value.The main research combines case study and model study.CFD technology and noise mapping technology are used to simulate the wind environment and acoustic environment of high-density blocks in various spatial forms.Though this,the urban form indexes which influence outdoor wind environment and acoustic environment in medium and micro scales are explored.Based on the result of main study,The common influencing factors and thespatial form design strategies of high-density blocks are summarized.The study points out that the outdoor wind and acoustic environment of high-density blocks couples on four indexes: road density,building density,patch compactness index and fractal index.And adopting appropriate spatial form design strategy in high-density blocks could gain the effect of improving wind and acoustic environment.This paper makes up for the lack of research on coupling wind environment and acoustic environment and provides reasonable suggestions for urban plan and construction works.The result of this research is helpful to improve the environment quality in public space of high-density blocks.
