Abstract/Summary:
Since the 21 st century,as more and more high-tech weapons have appeared on the modern battlefield,the progress of the war has changed dramatically with the past.However,the battlefield situation,terrain and environment are very complicated,and the development of camouflage and stealth technology is becoming more and more mature.The difficulty of finding targets in the battlefield is greatly enhanced,and the classification and recognition of tar gets becomes more difficult.Nowadays,the means of reconnaissance are becoming more and more Rich and fast,mainly including various reconnaissance vehicles,satellites,drone reconnaissance,etc.,but the role of individual reconnaissance is still very i mportant.This paper focuses on the millimeter-wave radar antenna that can be used for individual reconnaissance.In order to achieve the goal of miniaturization and light weight of individual radar,the design uses a microstrip antenna,and in order to achieve high gain,the array needs to be performed.Two microstrip array antennas were designed and operated at 35 GHz and 94 GHz,respectively.The designed 35 GHz microstrip array antenna is an 8×6 array,and the unit is fed with a microstrip line.The area array uses a T-type power divider to realize the first parallel connection and the series connection,ensuring that the phase of the patch unit is consistent.The function of the power divider makes the unit excitation amplitude obey the Chebyshev distribution,and the array as a whole is fed by the coaxial line.The antenna has a-10 dB bandwidth from 34.6-35.3GHz and a bandwidth of 700 MHz.The-15 dB bandwidth is from 34.7-35.2GHz,the bandwidth reaches 500 MHz,the half-power lobe width of the E plane is 13.4°,the sidelobe level is-16.1dB,and the half-power lobe width of the H plane is 9.4°.The flat is-16.3dB and the gain of the antenna reaches 23.9dB at 35 GHz.The designed 94 GHz microstrip array antenna is an 8 x 4 array.The design idea of the 94 GHz microstrip array antenna is that the unit is edge-fired,and the last patch on each line array is slotted for adjusting the offset of the radiation direction on the pattern.The area array uses a three-stage power splitter to achieve impedance matching,while the overall feed structure uses a waveguide-transferred microstrip.Due to its simple structure and ease of manufacture,the probe transition mode is selected.The antenna has a-10 dB bandwidth from 92.9-95.4GHz and a bandwidth of 2.5GHz.The-15 dB bandwidth is from 93.4-94.5GHz,the bandwidth reaches 1.1GHz,the half-power lobe width of the E plane is 19.6°,the sidelobe level is-10.0dB,and the half-power lobe width of the H plane is 9.8°.The level is-10.1 dB and the gain of the antenna reaches 20.3 dB at 94 GHz.The above two microstrip array antennas are used to establish the basic structure model in CST,and a large number of simulation optimization work is tried.The final antenna performance results are ideal,which proves the feasibility of the antenna.
