Building Information Modeling(BIM)is the integration of information technology with the construction industry,which focuses on the modeling information management throughout the whole construction lifecycle.It aims to promote the level of the informatization of the construction industry.IFC standard as an important method is proposed in order to implement the BIM theory.IFC can support all aspects of construction engineering model information storage and exchange requirements.However,because the modeling information managed by BIM involves a large number of participants,using IFC standard to share modeling information among the various participants of BIM requires a lot of file format conversion and interaction.There is a lot of duplicated effort.Also,because of the complexity of the IFC standard,to implement a high-performance IFC file extractor is a big challenge,which will affect the efficiency of the whole data exchanging process.Based on the study of the application of IFC standard in data collaboration in BIM system,and the analysis of the problems found in the real projects,proposing the solutions of the corresponding problems.The main content of this thesis can be summarized as follows:1.Based on the study of the requirements of the modeling information collaboration of BIM system,classification of data in BIM and the IFC standard characters,this thesis proposes an IFC based modeling information collaboration framework of BIM system,which encapsulates all the IFC model extraction and the formats conversion complexity together into this framework,in order to facilitate the sub-applications of different BIM phases.At the same time,the framework also provides the BIM modeling information management and storage services.2.After studying the IFC,IFC Schema and the EXPRESS language,this thesis designs and implements an EXPRESS language syntax interpreter,which can simultaneously support multiple versions of the IFC files.Then the optimization of IFC extraction is discussed,and the optimization solution is also implemented to ensure the efficiency of the entire modeling information extraction from the IFC files in the IFC based data collaboration framework of BIM system.The main content described in this article has been implemented as part of a whole BIM solution.In this solution,this framework supports the downstream BIM applications via Web APIs,as a fundamental service,including the improvement of the IFC processing.It can improve the implementation efficiency of these applications.
