At present,the development situation for the global energy is under the important period transforming from “high-carbon economy” to “low-carbon economy”.Therefore,the energy equipment-manufacturing industry that is closely linked with the transformation of energy development situation also faces major changes.The main research direction of thermal power technology in future is regarding how to organically combine clean coal gasification technology with fuel gas-steam combined-cycle power generation system,namely having good environmental protection effect in improving generating efficiency.Therefore,Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle arises at the historic moment as a emerging technology gradually replacing the existing steam turbine power station.Shanghai Boiler Works Co.,Ltd undertook the first domestic Huaneng IGCC Power Station Project in 2008,as well as achieved success in batch feeding and ignition for the first time in April 2012,thus the company became the precursor of implementing domestic IGCC project.Under this background,with taking IGCC projects as the carrier this paper explores the effective path to improve the product welding quality by the relevant quality management tools and the practice of production quality management based on the analysis of the current drawbacks existing in improving the welding quality of the products.Firstly,this paper introduces the current forms of thermal power industry and the basic characteristics of IGCC projects,and then analyzes the requirements of current IGCC projects,the differences of IGCC projects between domestic manufacturers and foreign advanced manufacturers,as well as the main product quality problems that the company faces in this kind of project.Secondly,this paper gives an analysis of the drawbacks in the improvement of product welding quality under IGCC projects,discusses the company's main bottleneck in the process of improving weldedcontact rectifier from four aspects,namely subjective factors,objective factors,subjective & objective coupling process drawback and environmental drawback.Thirdly,based on quality management tool PDCA cycle model,statistical process control SPC and company's traceability management system,this paper carries out the practice research on the management path of improving product welding quality under Henan Kaixiang methanol Phase II technological transformation,product structure adjustment project,dry powder gasification furnace project and internal component project.Finally,this paper summarizes and concludes the valuable experience regarding the quality management and control in the ways to improve the welding quality of Kaixiang gasification furnace,reconsiders the deficiency in the research of this paper,as well as summarizes and forecasts the development direction of the research of future product quality management.This paper aims to take Henan Kaixiang methanol Phase II technological transformation,product structure adjustment project,as well as dry powder gasification furnace and internal component project in the second IGCC project that the above company undertakes as the practice object,as well as carries out the practice exploration and research on the ways to improve the welding quality by the relevant quality management tools and the company's management system,so as to provide useful and feasible paths of quality management to improve product quality and strive for market share under the new market situation for the company.
