Study On The Integration Of Urban Rail Transit Network Based On Analysis Of Multilayer Network Characteristics

The station location and route planning of a rail transit system should follow urban network characteristics.The integration of urban rail transit and urban network characteristics can bring about better public transport services and improve the utility of urban rail transit.In this thesis,the network characteristics to be refered to were firstly determined for the integration research of urban rail transit.The evaluation indicators belonging to the network characteristics were selected;and the influence coverage of the urban rail transit in the various aspects of the network characteristics were clarified.Then,this thesis innovatively designed the integration measure standard of the urban rail transit network in various layers of the urban network characteristics and put forward the train of thought of how to evaluate the integration.The model of the integration evaluation of urban rail transit network was set up and the specific process of the integration evaluation was given.Next,ANOVA compared the differences in overall volume of station traffic between the two lines.Multiple regressions were used to test for associations between volume of station traffic and the factors belonging to urban network characteristics.Such factors were compared to the evaluation indicators selected in the integration evaluation model,in order to verify the rationality and validity of the integration evaluation model established in this thesis.Finally,the model of the integration evaluation,which combined to the development situation,was used to evaluate the integration of the urban rail transit network in multilayer network characteristics in Wuxi City for case study.The reasons of the integration evaluation results were analyzed and the improvement suggestions were put forward for Wuxi urban rail transit system.The contribution and innovations of this thesis are: 1.Identifying the significant evaluation indicators for determining the integration of urban rail transit among the comprehensive and complicated urban network characteristics;2.Establishing rational and valide integration evaluation model for urban rail transit and giving the detailed process for the integration evaluation;3.Establishing multiple regression models between urban network characteristic factors and volume of station traffic.
