| ABSTRACT:Featured with high speed, large freight volume, few pollution and high efficiency, urban railway system plays a vital role in traffic congestion alleviation, energy conservation and emissions reduction. Due to the imbalance and shortage of the resource of urban rail transit, this paper has made evaluation research on urban rail transit network from the view of the input and output, which will make a full understanding of the benefit status of urban rail transit network, make clear that how to use and distribute the urban rail transit resource, and has a theoretical and practical significance in the planning, construction and operation of urban rail transit.Urban rail transit has the merit of combination of multiple input and output, and the DEA method possesses a great advantage in evaluating the multiple input and output system. Therefore, this paper has made benefit evaluation on the urban rail transit through the method of DEA.This paper has not only analyzed the attribute of urban rail transit, but also made a full explanation of characters, emergence and function mechanism of the urban rail transit network, which proved that the DEA evaluating method is suitable for the evaluation of urban rail transit network. By analyzing the related concept, basic ideas, and fundamental properties of the DEA method, this paper ensured the assessment indicator system, and then established the benefit evaluating model of the urban rail transit network. The decision-making unit of urban rail transit network of eight cities of our country was evaluated in this paper, and according to the research result, suggestions to improve the rail transit networks of bad benefit are provided and optimization has been made in evaluation model.This paper shows that the DEA is a valid evaluating method for the benefit evaluation of urban rail transit network. The DEA method helps to increase the utilization of urban rail transit and improve the benefit of urban rail transit network. |
