ABSTRACT:With rapid development of urban rail transit, network operational process is accelerating and the effect of urban rail transit network is more prominent. Local problems will spread and affect operational safety of related lines and entire network because the correlation enhances between the stations and the lines. Therefore, it’s more and more difficult to manage operational safety of urban rail transit.Analyzing operational safety impact factors of urban rail transit, establishing the evaluation index system of urban rail transit network operational safety and evaluating operational safety of urban rail transit from the perspective of the network operation improves operational safety management level, promotes the integration development of network operational safety management and provides scientific foundation for management decision of urban rail transit network operation.This paper is supported on the national "12th Five-Year" Science and Technology Support Project-Key technologies and systematic development of urban rail transit network operational safety (2011BAG01B02).Based on the characteristics of urban rail transit network and operational safety impact factors of urban rail transit, network operational safety of urban rail transit is studied, integrated with the status of passengers, key equipment and facilities and environment and so on. The evaluation index system of urban rail transit network operational safety, the operational safety network model and evaluation method are proposed. The main contents are as follows:(1) Network operational safety impact factors of urban rail transit, which are passengers, key equipment and facilities, environment and management, are analyzed.(2) The characteristics of urban rail transit network are summarized and the weighted network model of urban rail transit operational safety is constructed. The definitions、description and calculation methods of different types of nodes, point intensity and interval strength are proposed.(3) The evaluation index system of urban rail transit network operational safety is established, the meanings and calculation methods of indexes are studied. Also, network operational safety of urban rail transit is evaluated with the combination of entropy method and multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method (EMFC).(4) Example verification. Part of Beijing urban rail transit network is evaluated as an example to verify the rationality and reliability of this method. And it provides theoretical basis for network operational safety decision-making and safety control measures of urban rail transit.
