Now China has already entered an aging society. In the long run,China will face the major problem of population aging. In this regard,China has also set up corresponding regulatory systems and safeguard measures, but the focus of these studies is biased towards urban areas, while 3 / 4 of the elderly in China live in rural areas, but there is little discussion on related aging issues.Since ancient times, family support for the aged has been the main mode of support for the aged in rural areas, but in real life there are some limitations in the activities of the elderly. Therefore, starting from the level of suitable aging and based on the actual needs of the elderly, higher requirements are put forward for family support for the aged, thus introducing the concept of " aging in original place".Compared with other cities,Chongqing region has the reality of " big cities lead big villages",and the large ups and downs of terrain and rapid urban development have led to insufficient attention to the aging facilities for the elderly in rural areas. Therefore, this article mainly focuses on the outdoor environment suitable aging transformation of the elderly in Chongqing rural family homes.Through the analysis of the daily living needs of the elderly, the original living environment has been re-designed,which not only reduces the maintenance cost of their children, but also meets the elderly’s willingness and habits. At the same time,it also conforms to the national strategy to solve the rural old-age problem. In this paper, the old-age model of " aging in original place" is taken as the research object, take the suitable aging transformation as the rural design method. The outdoor environment of the rural elderly in Tianjia Yard was planned in a practical way under the aging in original place model, and the corresponding transformation method was proposed in combination with the actual terrain, and the following contents were studied andsummarized.(1)Based on the old age dilemma and pension tendency in rural areas of China, this paper expounds the concepts of old people, aging design and land-forms in East Sichuan Province. And sort out the related theory and literature review.(2)Based on the limitations and causes of rural old-age status in China, combined with the unique old-age raising model in our traditional culture, and the current situation and data at home and abroad, summed up the " aging in original place " this new concept of old-age caring.(3)Through the discussion of the physical, psychological and mobility of the elderly in rural areas, the author integrates these practical problems and puts forward corresponding reform suggestions and summarizes the reform design principles.(4)According to the needs of the old people in rural areas for the aged, comprehensive design principles,on-site terrain characteristics, daily needs of the elderly and design norms, from the outdoor function layout, traffic flow lines,Landscape environment,barrier-free facilities and other aspects of the transformation design. The design strategy is carried out on the spot around the senility so that the elderly in the field can enjoy a more intimate and comfortable environment for the aged.Based on the investigation and theoretical basis of various aspects of the elderly in rural areas, this paper puts forward a regional plan for the transformation of the aging people. It is hoped that this method can improve the living environment of the elderly in rural areas and make some suggestions for the design of the outdoor environment in rural areas. It is hoped that the society will pay more attention to the problem of providing for the aged in rural areas and strengthen the perfection of the security for the aged in rural areas.
