Nuclear energy has gradually become one of the effective means to solve the energy crisis as an important clean energy.Various types of radiation have also been widely used in various fields such as medicine,agriculture,and industrial production.However,while radiation is benefiting people,it also brings potential safety hazards to humans and the environment.Therefore,monitoring the level of radiation in the environment is an indispensable part of the use of the ray process.The X-? ray dose rate in the air is an important parameter to measure the environmental radiation level,and monitoring it has very important significance.The portable dose rate meter can monitor the radiation dose rate in real time,it is convenient to carry,simple to operate and widely used in environmental radiation dose monitoring.In the design of this paper,a new portable X-gamma dose rate meter based on a large plastic scintillator was developed.The goal is to improve the measurement accuracy at the measurement speed so that it can both measure the average dose rate of the environment and can also measure Instantaneous dose rate.The front-end electronic circuit of the dose rate meter is a DDC112 current input analog-to-digital conversion chip,which uses the chip's own dual-switching integration function to alternately sample and integrate the input current through two integration loops and digitize them,thereby achieving continuous input current.Measurement;Data acquisition is implemented by the Arduino microcontroller platform.The Arduino platform sets the DDC112 chip operating parameters,and collects measurement data from it.After calculation,it is sent to the upper computer for display;the upper computer adopts DV-DUS touch with human-machine interaction.The display screen realizes the real-time viewing of the current dose rate and cumulative absorbed dose data,displays the instantaneous dose rate curve,threshold setting and alarm,display time,temperature and humidity,GPS information and other functions.The scale experiment was performed on the prototype designed in this thesis by using a commercial third-party environmental dose rate meter.The upper and lower limits of the instrument's measurement range were evaluated under the condition that the photomultiplier tube was subjected to different high pressures,and the dose rate meter was tested in the conventional measurement mode.Fast measurement mode stability.Experiments show that the dose rate meter designed in this thesis has good stability,at the same time,the measurement accuracy is also guaranteed,and the real-time measurement of the dose rate can be achieved,which may be widely used in the field of radiation protection.
