With the development of modern manufacturing industry,automatic assembly technology has become an important part of modern manufacturing industry.Throttle valve is an important part of automotive engine system.It is a controllable valve to control air entering the engine.This paper focuses on the design of torsion spring assembly and sector gear assembly station for automobile throttle.The lower bush,torsional spring and upper bush,sector gear are assembled on the housing one by one.Then the sector gear and the rotating shaft are welded by laser.Finally,the angle of the throttle plate and the flatness of the sector gear are measured.According to the requirement of automatic assembly,a multi-station rotary assembly machine is designed.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the working principle of the throttle system is introduced,the mechanical structure and assembling process of the throttle are analyzed,and the feeding mode of components is determined.The function tree of the automatic assembly system of the assembly machine is defined.The torsion spring assembly and the sector gear automatic assembly machine is divided into fixture module,feeding module,conveying module and assembly working head module.Several concepts are analyzed and compared,and the multi-station rotary assembly concept is determined.Secondly,the positioning datum of housing is analyzed,and the positioning method of using one surface and two locating pins is determined.The clamping mode of the throttle case is that the spring force drives the left and right clamping arms to close through the hinged connecting rod mechanism,so that the throttle housing is clamped on the fixture.For the left and right throttle housing,two types of fixtures can be changed quickly,so that the flexible production can be carried out.This paper also analyses the design of torsion spring assembly fixture and sector gear fixture.This paper introduces the definition and function of the automatic feeding system and the composition of the automatic feeding system.It also introduces the calculation of the vibration hopper capacity of the lower bushing and the design of the seperating mechanism of the lower bushing.The conveying unit of housing is also introduced.Again,this paper introduces the assembling unit of lower bushing,the assembling unit of torsion spring and the assembling unit of sector gear.A galvanometer scanning laser welding system is introduced.The 4D Watcher welding quality monitoring system is used to monitor the welding quality in real time.The mechanical structure of laser welded working head and the post-welded measuring head are also analyzed.Finally,this paper analyzes the measurement data of the throttle plate angle,sector gear torsion torque and sector gear pull-out force,and verifies that the welding position and welding strength of the throttle valve meet the technical requirements.This paper also makes an economic analysis of the equipment.After adopting the rotary conveying mode,the equipment effectively improves the product quality,significantly reduces the production cost and improves the production efficiency.
