The north shore area of the Jiaodong Peninsula is located in the northeastern part of the Shandong Peninsula. It has a superior geographical position and rapid development. In recent years, with the improvement of the overall living level of the city, the development of coastal settlements has also grown. The coastal areas are greatly affected by the marine climate. There are also many problems in the climate adaptability of the settlements. For example, the unique wind environment in the area will cause excessive wind speed indoors and outdoors in winter, affecting the indoor thermal environment and increasing energy waste. The relative humidity is also high. There are many disadvantages to the energy efficiency of the building. Therefore,in the design of the coastal residential area on the north shore of the Jiaodong Peninsula, the adaptability of the climatic environment should be considered, and the specific energy-saving environment of the local area should be used to optimize the energy-saving according to the relevant energy-saving indicators required by the regulations to achieve energy-saving purposes. The article begins with the characteristics of regional geography and climate, and summarizes the relevant energy-saving requirements that should be met for residential energy conservation in the region. At the same time, through on-the-spot photographing, measurement and distribution of questionnaires,etc.,on-the-spot investigations on the coastal settlement on the north coast of the Jiaodong Peninsula,in detail, the construction of the coastal settlement on the north shore of the Jiaodong Peninsula and the actual use of energy. From the perspective of factors affecting human thermal comfort, the main climate influencing factors that should be considered in climate-friendly energy-saving design of residential areas in the region are proposed.Secondly, according to the influencing factors of climate adaptive energy-saving design,energy-saving analysis is carried out separately from the overall energy-saving planning of residential areas and energy-saving design of residential units. In planning energy-saving design, from the site selection, layout, orientation, and external environment design that affects energy conservation,it is analyzed one by one according to various climate influencing factors, and the wind environment and sunshine environment are simulated by computer software. The optimal planning strategy for settlements under the influence of various factors is obtained. In terms of energy-saving design of residential units, from the aspects of graphic design, indoor natural ventilation design, indoor moisture-proof design, external protective structure design and solar energy utilization and design, specific analysis is carried out for local climate influencing factors, and the research is suitable for local Energy-saving optimization strategy for climatic conditions. Finally, according to the specific energy-saving strategies proposed in the previous two chapters, the specific energy-saving design of a new residential area will be applied to the actual design.Starting from the residential planning and residential units, the design is combined with the actual housing, and the design scheme is verified in the energy-saving design of the wind environment and sunshine factors through software simulation. Finally, through the Swell energy-saving software for energy-saving calculation,by comparing the results with the normative standards to be met in the region,it is verified whether the key energy-saving indicators meet the standards, thus verifying the feasibility of the energy-saving design.
